Video : James Blake|Limit to your Love
If you’re unaware of James Blake’s work, I think it’s maybe time you take notice. So far 2010 has been a big year for the 21-year-old, with two excellent releases on the seminal R&S Records whilst also giving some time to remix his cohorts Mount Kimbie.
One thing you may not of been aware of is that he also has an amazing voice within, of which you can hear on his first release which is a cover of Feist’s ‘Limit to your Love’. Re-worked, recorded and produced entirely in his bedroom it’s the first time we’ve had the opportunity of hearing his soulful tones, and a prerequisite of what’s to come from his imminent long player.
The video which was filmed in Copenhagen by influential director Martin De Thurah. His debut album is due for release in early 2011 on Universal Records.
