Introducing : One Zero Nine Six|AW11
Gymphlex, who as the name suggests, have been manufacturing sportswear for over a century right here in the UK, have recently turned to British designer Jeff Griffin (of Griffin fame) to collaborate on a new collection for AW2011.
One Nine Zero Six is an important return to British manufacturing and design, a contemporary collection incorporating design details, finishes and heritage materials all inspired by the Gymphlex archive.
The ready-to-wear collection includes outerwear, shirts, knitwear and accessories all crafted from cloth made in the UK. Featuring a soft tailored aesthetic with clean, crisp lines and a somber colour palette, the new label launches a forward thinking range that heralds a shift in British menswear from heritage to contemporary design.
