Art : Retro Italian Cinema

One of the forthcoming changes to the site that we are all very excited about is the addition of a movie section. Just like music we all have very diverse tastes when it comes to cinema and when I first said to Scott about doing some articles on Italian Horror I think he thought I was having a laugh at his expense.
Little did he know but I have been into horror since I was in my early teens and have recently rediscovered my love for the genre. Over the last few weeks I have been busy catching up with the movies of Argento, Bava and Fulci amongst others . . .
Tonight, whilst doing some research for my first cinema blog (due next week) discussing what is it about horror and in particular Italian horror that I like so much I discovered some great examples of posters and art used to advertise the films that I am so passionate about and wanted to share some of them with you . . .
Classics like Suspiria and Deep Red are covered here but also more obscure titles like Bloodstained Butterfly and Whip and Body.
I’ll fill you in next week with some soundtracks, trailers and general pointers but for now load up the gallery and enjoy the art . . .
