Art : Stanley Chow

Stanley Chow started his career back in 1996, designing flyers and posters for club-nights off the back of DJ’n in and around his native Manchester.  He then focused as a fashion illustrator and storyboard artist where his illustrations were commissioned by the likes of GQ, Elle, Marie Claire, Company Magazine and Marks & Spencers. After being picked up by an American agency, it wasn’t before long that respect for his work gained momentum and bigger clients such as Vodafone, BT, Volkswagen and the BBC all came knocking.

Then in 2009 after the recession hit and spending budgets dried up, Stanley decided to go back to doing his first true love, caricatures. This time it was not for beer tokens as he had previously done back in his college days, but to make it his new profession.

As you can from some of the work we feature he delivers a clean simplistic style with great character choices. Check his website for more of the same and to see what he’s up to. Make sure you also browse his store and add one his prints to your credit card statement.
