With the sheer amount of beat tapes around these days I often find it hard to get excited by them but then (every now and again) you can get a real gem.
The Life Sketches EP by Mecca83 is certainly one of those gems. A lot of producers are making these soulful instrumental hip hop beats but not many have production skills at this level. Mecca has pulled of a wonderful little collection of 8 tracks on this release that really do deserve your full attention.
