One Nine Zero Six : AW11|Best of British

The new ONE NINE ZERO SIX collection by GYMPHLEX draws inspiration from the looming London 2012 Olympics, even if the styling is mercifully miles from what we might expect from East End Sportswear.

For the photo shoot, they turned to GB Olympic hopefuls to model a collection inspired by the classic pastimes of the landed classes, striking a great balance between clean lines and a hint of dandyism which appeals no end. The shots capture the heritage of this capsule collection, which incorporates single layer outerwear, knitwear, chino, short and shirting to great effect, with a range of merino knit accessories.

One hundred and six years in for Gymphlex, this is a bold return to British design and manufacturing which is eminently wearable. All this, and not a Reebok Classic in sight.
