Jazzy Jeff And Ayah | Back For More Free Album

The weather here in the UK has been terrible for over a week now, overcast, muggy, dreary, rainy . . . You get the picture.

So I don’t know about you but I could do with a pick me up and when I want to feel summery I always turn to a nice bit of  R and B, not the kind R Kelly releases (is that even R and B?) but the kind that soulful hip hop producers make, think the excellent Toni Braxton track “Take This Ring”, Amerie “Hate2loveu” (both produced by Rich Harrison) or the excellent J Rawls and Middle Child project from a couple of years back. We are talking lovely heart felt female vocals over classic hip hop breaks and delicious jazz loops.

When discovering this album tonight I felt I should bring it to you straight away and help get some sun into your life just in time for the weekend.

Expect exquisite vocals from Ayah over tight production from Jeff who samples classics tracks by the likes of Freddie Hubbard, Marvin Gaye and Paulinho Da Costa.

Summer has just officially started . . .
