The Rig Out : Issue 4

The fourth outing from those aesthetically inclined gents at the Rig Out marks a further step-up from their already excellent work, as they go from fanzine to glossy behemoth in four issues.

As we lament the demise of relevant, engaging magazines (in a forthcoming piece), they have shown again how to engage and entertain with a unique take on menswear and much more.

The crack team of Antony Cook, Andy Bird and Glenn Kitson have been joined by guest artists and writers, including a front and back cover by ex Stone Rose John Squire. We can’t help but feel a pang of envy as they globetrot Milan, Nairobi, New York and beyond. If it wasn’t for the fact that we love their work, the accompanying film The Stream, shot in Morocco, would just be plain annoying.

For those who’ve come across them before, the attention to detail, championing of relevant brands (including CP Company, Woolrich Woolen Mills, and Engineered Garments), and engaging banter remains as keen as ever. We heartily advocate those who haven’t having a look; safe to say there will be ever more converts to the Rig Out.
