Xhin (pronounced “Sheen”) hails from Singapore and has been composing his own brand of cutting edge electronica since 1997.

Supersonicstate is his debut album and was originally released back in 2004. Fusing genres such as ambient, techno and downtempo this album takes the finest elements of those styles and blends them seemlessy to create a rich texture of moods at different tempos that could easily be the soundtrack to any big budget Sci Fi blockbuster.

The energy that runs through Supersonicstate invokes images of a fast paced trip through Cloud City but it never gets too frantic or claustrophobic that would make it difficult for any techno novice to explore.

Since 2004 Xhin has produced sounds for Nokia and fashion house Woods & Woods and has released music on Berlin labels Meerestief and Stroboscopic Artefacts.

Don’t be scared to indulge in techno, it doesn’t bite.
