Drawstring Parka : One Nine Zero Six

We’ve already mentioned an entirely justified soft spot for the excellent ONE NINE ZERO SIX capsule collection by Jeff Griffin. For AW11, they’ve come up wardrobe trumps again with their Drawstring Parka.

As with their other pieces, the eminently wearable parka combines Griffin’s design aesthetic, Gymphlex’s sportswear heritage (intact since 1906) and a shared attention to detail for the highest standards in British manufacturing. The result is a classic parka which comes in a variety of materials- crisp waterproof Ventile Cotton, heavy wool Melton and washed cotton panama.

With military overtones, this is much more classic gent than wannabe Mod, and will do you proud for many a winter to come. In fact, if the last few months are much to go on it may well be a staple for most of the year.
